People often think of a Building your own PC - of course the case is often where they start. This contains the pc parts that are used to run the PC. These parts all connect to the motherboard (also known as the system board) and CPU, Memory and motherboards all have to match in compatibility.

Building your own PC is usually done with just a philips head screwdriver to screw the motherboard and the PSU to the case, and then everying else just slots in. You need to connect the cables from the various devices to the motherboard, PSU to motherboard (PSU choice also has to match the motherboard selector - look out for ATX or Mini AX connectors), slotting in the RAM and the CPU.
